The RSP Bushcraft Bonanza Patch Earning the RSP Bushcraft Bonanza Patch is a testament to one's knowledge and skills in outdoor survival and wilderness living. This badge focuses on practical, hands-on experience and a deep respect for nature. To achieve this badge, participants must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: Shelter Building: Construct a sturdy and weatherproof shelter using natural materials found in the environment. Backwoods Cooking: Identify edible plants and safely prepare and cook food over an open fire. Fire Lighting: Safely start a fire using different methods, such as friction, flint and steel, or other traditional techniques, and understand fire safety. Water Purification: Find and purify water to make it safe for drinking, using various methods such as boiling, filtering, and chemical treatments. Group Campfire: Participate in campfire songs, stories, and activities, demonstrating enthusiasm and camaraderie. Participants who earn the RSP Bushcraft Bonanza badge demonstrate resilience, resourcefulness, and a profound appreciation for the natural world, embodying the spirit of adventure and self-reliance. Minimum Age: 4 Years Old
