Crate Climbing (Site Specific) Training

Service Description

This training course has been designed to help you become competent at running your very own crate climbing sessions with your group. There is no scout permit required for this activity, All necessary scouting information can be found in POR by following the link below. https://www.scouts.org.uk/activities/crate-climbing/ MINIMUM AGE Ages 18+ DURATION This training course is run over 1x 8-hour day. RATIO The maximum group size for this course is 8 Participants. COURSE CONTENT Leader Responsibilities Group Management Risk Assessments Operating Procedures The Weather Rigging & Setting Up Running a Session Emergency Procedures Equipment BMC Participation Statement: The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions

Cancellation Policy

Cancelation with more than 30 days' notice, we will charge a £25 cancellation fee. Cancelation with between 7 & 30 days' notice, then a 50% refund will be given. Cancelation with less than 7 days' notice, then no refund will be given. We advise taking out cancellation, curtailment and accident insurance. If RSP cancels a booking for any reason, including illness, you will be given the option of either rescheduling your activity, or receiving a full refund. Some courses require a certain ratio to run, if these ratios are not met then the course will not run, and a full refund will be available. RSP staff will communicate with clients to keep them updated on this matter.
