NNAS - BRONZE - (2 Day) (Private Group)

Service Description

OVERVIEW The Bronze National Navigation Award is a practical hands-on award. It is aimed at people with no navigation experience whether you are new to the outdoors or have been relying on others, guidebooks or easy well-defined routes. It is also the starting point for many Duke of Edinburgh students, scouts and guides and cadet groups who are looking to develop their outdoor skills. NNAS Bronze award is accredited by the Scottish Credit & Qualifications Framework (SCQF) at Level 4, and 2 SCQF credit points are awarded on completion. The syllabus of the Bronze National Navigation Award teaches navigation in the countryside using paths tracks and other linear features. Basic map interpretation and compass work is also included MINIMUM AGE Ages 12+ HOURS This course runs over 2x 8-hour days, with the assessment taking place on day 2. RATIO The maximum group size for this course is 8 Participants. INCLUDED IN THE PRICE All Course Equipment & Handouts NNAS Bronze Certificate (Upon Successful completion of the course) BMC Participation Statement: The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.

Cancellation Policy

Cancelation with more than 30 days' notice, we will charge a £25 cancellation fee. Cancelation with between 7 & 30 days' notice, then a 50% refund will be given. Cancelation with less than 7 days' notice, then no refund will be given. We advise taking out cancellation, curtailment and accident insurance. If RSP cancels a booking for any reason, including illness, you will be given the option of either rescheduling your activity, or receiving a full refund. Some courses require a certain ratio to run, if these ratios are not met then the course will not run, and a full refund will be available. RSP staff will communicate with clients to keep them updated on this matter.
